SUMMARY:Urban Sketching in Cheadle
DESCRIPTION:“Urban Sketchers is a global community of artists. We share our love for the places where we live and travel – one drawing at a time.” The USK mission is to raise the artistic\, storytelling\, and educational value of on-location drawing. \nCheadle Arts is delighted to welcome back the Stoke-on-Trent USK group (whose participants are drawn from as far afield as Alton and Alsager). \nEveryone is invited to try sketching on location in Cheadle. The regulars are extremely welcoming and will give you pointers on how to get started. Meeting point is the Guild Hall side entrance on the walkway.  This is also where everyone will reconvene for the ‘throw down’ at 1.30pm to share their work and talk about how they got on. This will be inside the Guild Hall if the weather is miserable. \n \nSketchers are then invited to stay on at the Guild Hall as refreshments and cakes are available and the Afternoon Delight Concert will soon be taking place. \n
