We have such a full schedule at this year’s Arts Festival that we thought we’d share with you some of the drama that is unfolding in the town during October.
One Act Plays, 4th October, Guild Hall
An evening of light-hearted drama at the Guild Hall to kick off the Arts Festival month.Three one-act plays and one short film.Tickets £5 on sale at Kenral and online Bar open on the night.
Comedy Night, 10th October, Hales Hall Coach House
Professional compere and 3 up and coming acts take to the mic.Tickets include pie and pea supper.Tickets £22.50 in advance from Hales Hall and Kenral.
Sherlock Holmes vs Dracula – 15th October, St Giles the Abbot Parish Church
The stunning performance by the professional Don’t Go into the Cellar is coming to Cheadle for the Arts Festival. It will be performed in the truly atmospheric setting of the parish church St Giles the Abbott.Tickets £10 on sale at Kenral and online
Murder Mystery, Friday 18th October, Cheadle Cricket Club
Can you guess Whodunnit?
Following last year’s sell out success, we are delighted to announce the return of this joyous evening at the Cricket Club.Tickets £10 to include pie & pea supper. Tickets available online and at Kenral. Bar open.
Film Night 23rd October, Wellspring Centre, Methodist Church, Chapel Street.
Something light and fluffy to make us feel good, and there’s nothing lighter and fluffier than this classic favourite Mamma Mia! Actually there is something even lighter – Mama Mia the Singalong version.

CATS Double Bill, 25th & 26th October, Guild Hall
Cheadle CATS presents a double bill of two classic short horror stories presented in the format of radio plays.The Monkey’s Paw is a horror short story by English author W. W. Jacobs.
The Signal-Man is a horror mystery story by Charles Dickens.Tickets available at Kenral and online
Lantern Parade, 26th October, parade through town from 6pm
Cheadle Arts has been working closely with OUTSIDE to bring this spectacular finale to the Arts Festival. Stay tuned for details of lantern-making workshops during October for children and adults to get involved.
