Macbeth – an immersive experience

Following a sell-out run of A Midsummer Night’s Dream earlier this year, which marked the opening of their new home, The Hideaway Theatre, down at Arbour Tree Farm, immersive theatre company Lucid Spark returns for the Arts Festival with their boldest work yet: a post-apocalyptic reimagining of Macbeth.

This immersive, site-specific production will take audiences deep into the woods for an unforgettable encounter with Shakespeare’s darkest tragedy. A world where power is cracked, nature is reclaimed and prophecy reigns, Macbeth comes to life like never before.

Lucid Spark has quickly earned a reputation for inventive, atmospheric work, having also performed in Hamlet in collaboration with the Stafford Gatehouse and taken the stage at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2024.
