Well what can we say? Yesterday’s ‘Afternoon Delight’ was beyond a ‘delight’, it was really something quite special 💜🎶
It was a wonderful celebration of our incredible community groups, and they were a joy to watch. Each and every one of them was a credit to Cheadle. As for the crowd……you were amazing! What an atmosphere and true sense of community.
The music, the vibes, the singing, the clapping, the dancing… it all made this event a massive success. Thank you to everyone involved!
We must apologise though, we briefly ran out of cake 😲, because it was sooo goood 🍰☕️😍

Uke3A – played lots of favourite sing-along tunes
Cheadle & District Community Choir – sang lots of well known songs and compilations.
U3A Guitar group – everyone’s feet were tapping to their wonderful sets.
The young dancers with Amy Lou Saxon were absolutely heart-warming. Such talent emerging in the younger generation.
And a thank you to our audience. People were welcome to pop in and stay for as long as they liked. We were delighted that so many people stayed all afternoon, enjoying the performances and the refreshments. Thank you for your support.
