What a fantastic finale to this year’s Cheadle Arts Festival!
The people of Cheadle came together to illuminate the streets in last night’s parade, carrying their lanterns high and lighting up the town in a beautiful show. Our theme of Light & Dark combined for our last night.
A heartfelt thank you to OUTSIDE for contributing this element of the festival. It seems a long time ago that we sat in the library planning it together, and suddenly there’s a parade of smiling people parading the lanterns they made in the workshops. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed—from those who crafted lanterns to the dedicated volunteers. Special thanks to Richard Redwin and the team at B-Arts, Red Thing Creations, Worldbeaters, the Wellspring Methodist Church, Cheadle Arts Festival organising team, all the paraders, and every single person who came out to cheer.
