We are really pleased to extend the involvement of Painsley Catholic College this year. We received lots of superb entries for the photographic competition again this year, and enjoyed meeting the young photographers at the Showcase Day on 19th October. We were helped out at the photographic competition by Blythe Bridge Camera Club and one of the young Painsley photographers spent a lot of time discussing the finer details of photography with one of their experts. Huge congratulations go to Painsley students for scooping both first and second places in the competition.
We also arranged for Painsley to run a lantern-making day with their students so that they could get involved in the lantern parade. It was lovely to see all the Instagram posts from @painsley_creativearts sharing details of the festival with the students and parents who follow them.
