Everyone said they loved our Arts Festival edition of the local paper last year. We were sent loads of amazing feedback. It was a community effort: groups sent us interesting updates, our professional editor included loads of real local news articles, local tradespeople paid for small ads and we were able to publish our schedule of events for October. The proper newspaper was delivered to 5000 homes and another couple of thousand were distributed via shops and villages. All free. It was a rip-roaring success.
This year …..Lack of grant funding 😥

And we only have a couple of weeks to try and crowd fund enough money to pay for design, printing and distribution

Last year we distributed 7,000 papers so if half of those people gave a £1 each we would smash our fundraising requirement.>>>> GOFUNDME
If half the people who read and enjoyed last year’s Cheadle Community Times all gave £1 then we have smashed our fundraising target. Probably we can’t reach all those people, so maybe you could delve a bit deeper on behalf of the community.
