This is when the shops and businesses around time give up their window space to turn the whole of the town into a temporary exhibition for the first two weeks of the Arts Festival in October. Once this was just the High Street, but now it has grown and shops across town are getting involved.
The art on display ranges from that produced by professional artists, keen amateurs, social groups, and art that has been produced for wellbeing purposes by those who would probably not even describe themselves as artists at all. We love it all – art is for everyone.
Call for artists – if you would like to get involved please register as soon as possible. This event is co-ordinated by Cheadle Arts volunteers and we kindly ask that artists do not try to make arrangements directly with shops as this can unwittingly cause all sort of confusion.
