Lucid Spark’s Frankenstein

The audience thought it was amazing and the standing ovations said it all. To have such talent perform in Cheadle is awesome and we are so pleased they timed their run of shows to be part of the Arts Festival. If you saw this production, maybe one day you will see their names in lights on a bigger screen or stage and you’ll ask yourself, didn’t I see them in Cheadle? Well if you didn’t, you missed out!!

Here are some insights into what some of the cast and company thought of their amazing run of Frankenstein in St Giles Church, Cheadle.

“The response to this production has been nothing short of extraordinary. We cannot thank our audiences enough for the incredible support we’ve received throughout this run.”
Lucid Spark Theatre Company

“This has been the greatest project I have ever been a part of. Mary Shelley’s novel has been my absolute favourite piece of literature since I was a teenager and to see my own adaptation brought to life onstage is something I feel immense pride for. Frankenstein was my directorial debut for Lucid Spark and to say it was a challenge is the understatement of the century. I am so grateful to have had the amazing members of this company rallying around me and
helping me make this show as amazing as possible because without them, it simply would not have been possible.”
Conor Price, Director and Captain Walton

“So, so grateful.”
Joshua Lee Grant, The Monster

“What an experience it’s been to be a part of this show, I’ve loved playing Victor every second. I’ve loved asking questions about what it means to be human, thinking about the responsibilities of bringing life into this world, to not turn away from love and to be grateful for the people closest to you that clearly show that love. It’s been a wild ride from to start to finish. Although chopping someone’s head off draws the line lol.
On top of that, to see all the wonderful praise and feedback this show has been given from the public has been incredible.” Zach Bethell, Victor Frankenstein

“The most beautiful, exhausting, challenging and rewarding thing we’ve ever created. over 400 people came to experience this story with us, and i feel so incredibly lucky to have shared something so special with every single one of them. A little piece of my heart will always belong to elizabeth, living in her grief, her love, her anger and her pain was at times harrowing.
“i am so proud of what we created. the production itself of course, but also the love, the care and the humanity that went into
every single moment of it.”” Miriam Lucy, Elizabeth Frankenstein

Thank you to all our audiences over the week. Lovely feedback and such heart warming standing ovations.
