We have been very fortunate to have the support of OUTSIDE again this year. One of their clever initiatives has been to take a stall at Leek Butter Market and allocate it to the artists and groups they are working with. So Cheadle Arts got to take the News to Leek.
Armed with a pile of newspapers, the flyers for the Children’s art competition and Photography Competition, our pull up bsnner and the amazing community painted Cheadle bunting from 2023, we spent the day talking about Cheadle and the Arts Festival.
The Butter Market has been recently restored and proved a popular place to linger when there was a downpour outside. We also noted how many Leek residents like to parade through with their dogs. We had a dog with us, so that helped us connect and chat with many a passer-by.
