Paul strikes a note and a pose

Paul Lucas has been busy this week. This very talented musician has supported the Cheadle Arts Festival for many years. Originally from Yorkshire, Paul is well settled in Cheadle now and is very generous with his time to enlighten and entertain us.

Last weekend he shared his musical knowledge, explaining the connections between ancient psalms and modern music, and giving us some wonderful renditions on his clarinet and bass clarinet. Paul’s warm humour and musical talents were a joy on a cold, wet October morning.

During the week Paul kindly modelled for our artists at the Figure Drawing Masterclass at Pugin’s gem. He cut a very dashing figure in his Town Crier outfit and struck some challenging poses.

Thanks Paul for all your support with the Arts Festival, it is much appreciated.
