This afternoon Bolton Gate Arts explored the subject of Sharing the News in today’s society. Conversations with my Grandson was poignant; Real or AI? Quiz Show was a laugh; Cake demonstrated the impact of when words get twisted and people jump to conclusions; to name just a few of the interesting and amusing sketches. Attendees to this scratch writing and performing workshop varied enormously in age and experience but everyone seemed to get a lot out of it and the audience cheered and applauded. I was leff thinking this is a workshop that more young people would have benefited from – but maybe they were too glued to their devices. Schools may be interested.
