That would be sketchy as in ‘not thorough or detailed’, not the modern meaning. Having said that, some of the hardy Urban Sketchers who came to Cheadle today did manage some very detailed sketches in the time allowed. Lots of very impressive work on display at the throw down at the end of the session. So many different styles, and some very interesting views of Cheadle had been found. Lovely to meet some USK folk that joined us from Buxton, as well as the Stoke-on-Trent crew.
