The Arts Festival is very much about encouraging everyone to get involved in arts activities. There is so much going on in Cheadle and the Arts Festival is a great way to signpost everyone to what is available. The following is a list of workshops and activities to sign up for.

9th, 16th, 23rd Oct | Watercolour painting | A 3 part watercolour workshop. A small group will be led step-by step through a picture that incorporates various watercolour techniques. Venue: Cheadle Fire station. Advance booking required, please be able to commit to all 3 sessions: 9th, 16th, 23rd October 6pm – 8.30pm. A donation of £3 for materials would be appreciated. 9th, 14th, 26th Oct | Lantern Making | Lantern-making will be taking place with schools and groups to prepare for the Lantern Parade. Come to one of the public workshops and learn how to build a willow-and-paper hanging lantern, and then join us for the parade! Carry your lantern with us as we wind our way through the streets of Cheadle in a bright and shining show of lights, music and community! 16th | Flower arranging demo | The Cheadle Flower Club is part of the Mercia and North Wales Area of NAFA and meets on the third Wednesday of each month (except August). 24th | Singing | Cheadle Community Choir is inviting anyone interested in finding out more about singing to come along to a taster evening and enjoy a sing-along. They are a very welcoming bunch.
